The business continuity industry is at a very pivotal crossroad. Many people are asking about the difference between resilience and business continuity, or how to tie risk management and business continuity together – well this episode will help.
My guest this week is Sarah Garrington. Sarah is the head of resilience for a law firm based in the UK. She is a conference speaker and frequent podcast guest and is very well spoken on the topic of operational resilience, organizational resilience…and just resilience in general. In today’s episode Sarah explains the difference between business continuity and resilience and gives some practical advice for how resilience professionals can work with the risk management team and leverage data to make the organization more resilient.
