Hello everyone, welcome to episode 72 - as the Resilience Think Tank presents the Resilient Journey podcast! Today I continue my conversation about operational resilience with Sarah Garrington.
Sarah and I talk about the need to align to key business risks, overcoming optimism bias and we talk about intolerable harm and where we should focusing our attention regarding resilience.
And I ask Sarah how to leverage BIA data when doing our operational resilience planning.

Just came across this podcast. Enjoyed the conversation but neither party actually defined Business Continuity or Operational Resilience. Both mentioned it seems strange that there is still confusion between the terms but there were no concrete examples or descriptions of the differences other than a high level (one is reactive and the other is proactive). It could really help the audience to give clear examples of how one fits within the other or extends the other, etc.
