I have been doing business continuity and resilience a long time and I’m going to admit something to you. This week’s guest introduces a concept that I have almost completely overlooked throughout my career. Personal preparedness as part of a resilience strategy.
Hello everyone, welcome to episode 45 - as the Resilience Think Tank presents the Resilient Journey podcast!
This week I’m joined by Bob Keller. I saw Bob speak at a conference recently and knew he was the perfect guest for the podcast. Listen as Bob explains:
- That corporations need to consider the human element of their continuity plans
- Why we need to push personal preparedness as part of the BCM program
- The fact that the business is only as resilient as their plan – but the plan is only as effective as the people who run it!
Be sure to follow The Resilient Journey! We sure do appreciate it!

This is something I have always thought we need to push more, the human factor of the BCM process. Personal preparedness is always important and essential.
